Noli Me Tàngere - José Rizal (Book Cover)

One of the few projects from my Adobe Illustrator Class (School Project) Noli Me Tángere (Latin for Touch Me Not) is a novel written by José Rizal, considered as one of the national heroes of the Philippines, during the colonization of the country by Spain to expose the inequities of the Spanish Catholic priests and the ruling government. Front Cover: To those who are not familiar with this book nor the historical importance of the author (to the Philippines), you might be asking yourself, "Why is there blood on the title. It is actually the country's shape protruding onto the text to symbolize all the bloodshed during the Philippine Revolution. Back Cover: Since he has one of the most distinguishable faces/hairstyle in Philippine history, I decided to not include his facial features. This also puts more attention towards the story.
