The Hunger Games: Catching Fire | DVD Box Set + Ads
Inspired by graffiti, propaganda, and the revolutionary nature of the film. There's a scene in the movie where the protagonist Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Melark was on their way to one of neighboring districts and Katniss saw a graffiti saying, "The odds are never in our favor" on the side of the building, scene from their train cart. That inspired me to create this project based on that scene. Pops of red grabs the consumer while the yellowish-orange color compliments the white text and dark background wall. DVD Design: The arena for the 50th Hunger Games was based on a clock, where each side of the arena has a different challenge for the tributes. I added the 12 emblems from each district to represent each our. I placed the Capitol seal in the middle symbolizing the Capitols hold on all of the districts. This was a project from my Digital Imaging class. We had to create a DVD Packaging design, as well as advertisement making it available for digital download on iTunes.
